Ashley N. Rodriguez, Esq. is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Second Chance Law LLC. As an advocate for the people, Ashley assists clients who have become entangled in the criminal system, are facing hardship due to previous cannabis convictions, and have been cited for traffic violations. Ashley is dedicated to bringing justice to her clients through holistic legal representation and is readily available to help her clients. In addition to representing her clients, Ashley fuels her passion for social justice by volunteering with First Defense Legal Aid, where she educates over-policed communities of their rights as citizens and on alternatives to policing. 

Ashley began her legal career with the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender as a 711 licensed law clerk and gained extensive courtroom experience. In that role, Ashley represented numerous clients in various felony charges and assisted in obtaining several not guilty verdicts. Before establishing her own practice, Ashley also worked at a law firm representing clients in real estate transactions, entity formation, and business litigation.  

As a student at The John Marshall Law School, Ashley was an active member of the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Council. She successfully competed in multiple trial advocacy competitions as a member of the Council. Ashley was also heavily involved in the Latino Law Student Association as Vice President, Treasurer, and a student mentor. 

When Ashley is not fighting for her clients, she enjoys spending time with friends, exercising, cooking, and volunteering in the community.
